For all tryouts, bring softball gear and water. Check-in starts ~30 min early. Attending one tryout is all that’s required, unless invited to come back for another.

    If you are a ‘National Level’ player, or committed already, please email jroumelis.furyplatinum@gmail.com, and we will determine if attendance is necessary. Players must have experience at this level of play (or be committed).

  • At Fury Platinum Northeast, our purpose is straightforward: to prepare student-athletes for success at the collegiate level. Playing in a recruitment-focused program isn’t for everyone; it requires dedication, discipline, and a drive to compete with the very best. If you’re that kind of player, our program will give you the exposure, training, and opportunities you need to be seen favorably by college coaches. Being part of Fury Platinum is a serious commitment, but for those willing to put in the work, the rewards are life-changing.

    1. Top Schedule for Maximum Exposure: We compete in high-visibility East Coast events, primarily in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, with select tournaments in the Southeast. Fury Platinum is a nationally recognized brand, and college coaches know they’ll find recruitable athletes on our fields.

    2. Excellent Coaching: Our staff includes some of the most respected coaches in the area; dedicated professionals who live and breathe softball year-round. With decades of combined playing and coaching experience, we’ll prepare you for the transition to college, beginning your freshman year of high school.

    3. Top Field Placement: These days, any team can buy entry into a showcase tournament, but we consistently compete on the premier fields at elite events like Team NJ, Power 12, New England’s Finest, Scenic City, T25 (Summer ‘27), East Coast Softball, Northern Exposure, to name a few. This means our athletes face top-level competition in front of NCAA coaches from every division.

    4. Value & Commitment: Recruitment-focused softball is an investment, but our families tell us the value of Fury Platinum Northeast is unmatched. As a non-profit 501(c)(3), we’re able to keep costs manageable, encourage fundraising, and provide opportunities for sponsorships to support families.

    5. Our Philosophy: Hard work is non-negotiable. Performance and effort matter here just like they do in high school and college. While all players receive valuable game experience, there are no guarantees or handouts. Our environment pushes athletes to compete, improve, and earn their place, which is the same path they’ll face at the next level.

    6. Leadership & Management: All Fury Platinum Northeast teams operate under the direction of FPNE Director Joe Roumelis, ensuring consistency in player development and scheduling. Platinum coaches are held to high standards.
